Bupati Kunjungi Masyarakat Rawan Bencana
Bupati Indramayu DR. H. Irianto M.S. Syafiuddin beserta ketua tim penggerak PKK Ny. Hj. Anna Sophana Senin (8/2) melakukan kunjungan kerja ke tengah masyarakat yang berada di wilayah rawan bencana yakni Blok Ningkong Desa Rambatan Kulon Kecamatan Lohbener.
Ratusan kepala keluarga di blok tersebut selama ini selalu dihantui ketakutan terhadap bencana yang siap melanda wilayahnya, terutama dari jebolnya tanggul sungai Cimanuk. Sikap cemas dan takut tersebut semakin bertambah apbila musim hujan turun seperti saat ini.
Dihadapan ratusan masyarakatnya Bupati Indramayu DR. H. Irianto M.S. Syafiuddin menyampaiakan, Pemerintah Kabupaten Indramayu terus memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakatnya termasuk dalam penanganan bencana dan antisipasinya. Meskipun kewenangan dalam memperbaiki tanggul dan saluran irigasi sungai Cimanuk merupakan kewenangan Balai Besar Cimanuk – Cisanggarung namun dilapangan pemkab tetap turun tangan karena melintas di wilayah Indramayu.
Kepala Dinas Pertambangan dan Sumber Daya Air (PSDA) Kabupaten Indramayu Ir. Firman Muntako mengungkapkan, saat ini terdapat 18 tanggul yang rawan jebol dan dalam keadaan kritis. Pada 2010 ini juga akan dilakukan pembangunan permanent bagi tanggul Ningkong, Jatibarang, dan Terisi dengan anggaran sekitar 5,5 Miliar.
Sementara itu Kabid Sosial pada Dinas Sosial dan Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Indramayu Erpin Marpinda mengatakan, bantuan yang diberikan kali ini kepada pemerintah desa berupa beras, tikar, terpal, gelas, piring, dan sejumlah alat-alat untuk kesiapan bencana. Sedangkan yang diberikan langsung kepada masyarakat yakni berupa beras 3,6 kg dan mie instan yang diperuntukan bagi 117 kepala keluarga. (dens/humasindramayu)

The Joomla! Project has assembled a top-notch team of experts to form the new Joomla! Security Strike Team. This new team will solely focus on investigating and resolving security issues. Instead of working in relative secrecy, the JSST will have a strong public-facing presence at the Joomla! Security Center. |
